Xantrex Technology's 222-W linear XBT programmable benchtop power supplies serve laboratory and low-power ATE applications. The supplies' channels 1 and 2 provide two 0- to 32-V, 0- to 3-A outputs; an additional output is programmable from 0- to 15-V or 0- to 5-A to a maximum of 30 W. Users can manually adjust the supplies using direct keypad entry and a digital encoder knob. For computer control, USB and RS-232 interfaces come standard, while IEEE 488.2/GPIB and Ethernet interfaces are optional.

The supplies can operate in an isolated mode, in which each of the three outputs operates independently. They can also operate in tracking mode, in which channels 1 and 2 provide equal but isolated outputs. In addition, channels 1 and 2 can operate in parallel to act as a single 0- to 32-V, 0- to 6-A output. Finally, channels 1 and 2 can operate in series to provide a single 0- to 64-V, 0- to 3-A output. Overvoltage and overcurrent protection functions are programmable for each channel. Each supply can store up to 100 voltage and current settings.
