Electrolux announced its Ergorapido 2-in-1 battery stick vacuum and its new Energica corded stick vacuum.have both been awarded a "Red Dot" International Design Award in Australia. The annual awards are judged by an international panel on innovation, functionality, and the formal quality. More than 7000 submissions from more than 60 countries entered the competition. 

The Ergorapido is available now. The new Energica corded stick is due to be launched in Australia mid year. Electrolux claims the Energica delivers suction power comparable to a traditional canister vacuum, but in a stick configuration. (current.com.au)
