LG: LCD TV to crash by 20%

A senior executive of LG has predicted that LCD-TV prices will fall 20% in 2005 due to oversupply of TFT-LCD panels. Kwang Woo Lee, vice president of LG Electronics (LGE), has said that LG is currently evaluating whether to build a LCD-TV assembly plant in cooperation with Taiwan-based home-appliance makers in Taiwan.
